The Cross-shaped Pedestrian Bridge

I go and take a pedestrian bridge.

It is a huge cross-shaped bridge
built over the national highway with heavy traffic.

Looking up standing underneath the spiral staircase,
I can see the well-used surface.

There is a bicycle under it.

The thick pillar.
A ray of light coming to the bottom.

Round and round…
I go up the stairs.

Many cars are coming and going over the rail.

I stand on the bridge.

So many buildings are standing.
The vast sky spreads over them.

I can see traffic signals under the bridge.

The path gets a little shaken
every time a large truck passes.

The back side.
A small description label is put on it.

I go down the spiral stairs.
The afternoon sunlight casts striped shadows.

Standing the bottom, I look up the bridge.

What I see is

the pillar,
a street light,

and cotton-like clouds.

The straight lines of the bridge paths.
The curved lines of the staircases.

The presence attracts me strongly,
that makes me feel eager to take the photos forever.
